DCYF Box Decommission
DCYF is in the process of ending, or decommissioning, Box cloud storage. The decommission completion date is May 1, 2025.
As part of this effort, our project team will deactivate Box accounts that are no longer in use.
Make sure to download data from Box that you need to retain and remove any unnecessary data and files.
Other secure types of software are replacing Box. Our team will reach out to each division/area to discuss the transition process to other platforms (i.e. SharePoint, Teams, or Managed File Transfer, etc.).
If you are using Box.com to review or collaborate on agency legislative reports, the Government Affairs team will assess your report’s status and assist you in transitioning any report items out of Box as necessary.
